And on a totally unrelated topic, my girl has finally settled into a schedule of taking real honest-to-goodness naps at regular intervals during the day. Since becoming a mother I have noticed that all of a sudden a schedule has been formed with little or no effort on my part. I have always thought that scheduling your baby is a good thing, but being the person I am, I just have never gotten started. And now, ta-da! I suppose that it is human nature to fall into a routine so it was bound to happen at some point. Annelee's morning nap was nearly three hours long today, and she woke up giddy, as you can see. Yay!

A sign your kid is real smart-like
I guess if your child becomes a vegetarian later in life, they must have a higher IQ than average. That must mean that smart kids are more likely to be anemic as well. Read the article. Those darn Brits and their research. I wonder if this study was spearheaded by a vegetarian. Hmmm...Suddenly I am struck with a movie quote: "Bacon tastes good. Pork chops taste good..."
