Did you know that a girl who's gonna get married is a fiancee and a boy who's gonna get married is a fiance? I wonder if the same is true for divorcee? Is a boy who's divorced a divorce?Incidentally, I've adopted divorcee to describe myself as opposed to single mom. To me, divorcee connotates alimony, ladies-who-lunch, cocktail hours and such...it's all very Erica Kane to me. We'll just pretend that's my life.
Did you know that boxed white zinfandel doesn't age well? My friend bought me a box-o-wine because the package was pink and it made him think of me. Then he lost track of me and didn't want to pay more than it cost to mail it. I don't know how long it sat in the cupboard, but it is no longer drinkable, even for me. Alas, four bottles down the drain. It was still a great gift - my favorite presents are the ones when the giver says "I saw it and thought of you."
